The Dryden Food Bank is now accepting donations to prepare for the Christmas rush.
Manager Keith Grant says the need for food is high at this time of year.
Grant says they can now accept both non-perishable and perishable food items.
He notes they recently purchased two large cooling units in order to store such items as meat and vegetables.
The Food Bank received $6,000 from CP Rail on the weekend during the stop of the Holiday Train.
