Hockey Canada’s Officiating Program can open doors to many opportunities.
Adam Bryck of Dryden, who is in the program, was just selected to be a linesman for the 2015 Canada Winter Games for men’s hockey.
Spokesperson Andrew Brewer says there are 6 levels in the program and you only need to be 12-years-old to join.
Brewer says someone who has a level 6 can be assigned to international and national assignments, such as the World Juniors and Olympics.
He adds Bryck has reached a level 4 in the program.
Clinics for the program are held in the fall.
