More tough talk from the lobby group that represents 49 First Nations in northern Ontario.
The Nishnawbe Aski Nation says it’s appalled by the legal maneuvering of the Canadian government as it relates to the survivors of the St. Anne’s Residential School in Fort Albany.
Deputy Grand Chief Anna Betty Achneepineskum indicates the testimonies already provided are not being recognized by the government in a court case on the matter.
Achneepineskum claims instead, the witnesses must testify again.
