The Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters applaud the introduction of Bill C-655.
The bill was introduced to amend the Criminal Code to limit interference from anti hunting, trapping, fishing and sport shooting activists.
OFAH Director Angelo Lombardo says he agrees with the bill and believes that without hunting and fishing, many wildlife populations would go unchecked.
Lombardo goes on to say the bill will help protect participants of hunting activities from anyone seeking to disrupt them.
