The Dudley Hewitt Cup is less than one month away and the Dryden GM Ice Dogs are now in final preparation mode.
Fundraising efforts for the Central Canadian Junior Hockey Tournament continue and President Mike Sveinson says things will soon hit a feverish pitch.
Sveinson says they will kick-off a major fundraising drive on the CKDR Morning Show next Wednesday at 7:00.
The team will also be out and about in the community securing sponsorships that day.
Sveinson says week long festivities begin April 28th with an Alumni Game.
He says they have a full roster of 20-players on each side, spanning all 17 years, noting the day will be dedicated to former players and staff.
Committee Chair Colleen Oliphant says tournament merchandise is now on-sale, with a great selection of shirts, hoodies, hats and other items.
Oliphant says they are working with Mallons and you can now go on-line and order your goods.
There will also be some merchandise for sale in Arena #2 during the event.
Tournament passes are still available for the upcoming Dudley Hewitt Cup.
The passes get you into all eight games, including the Semi-Final and Final.
Oliphant says individual tickets aren’t for sale right now, noting they won’t be released until closer to the Tournament or even game day’s.
