Ontario PC Leader Doug Ford is finishing up his visit in Dryden.
Ford made a visit to the City, toured the Domtar Mill and held a meet and greet at the Centre along with Kenora-Rainy River PC Candidate Greg Rickford.
Ford says there needs to be accountability and transparency with the government so the taxpayers money is spent efficiently.
He also cites problems with businesses as they have trouble opening up shop due to red tape causing businesses to go elsewhere.
Ford says if elected, residents can look forward to more better paying jobs, cutting the carbon tax, reducing hydro rates and ensuring the government works for the people.
He also talked a great deal about cutting back on the spending and taxing that the Wynne government is currently doing.
When it comes to Northwestern Ontario, Ford claims the Conservatives will bring prosperity back to the area and make it one of the best regions to conduct business in.
On Tuesday, Doug Ford will visit Sioux Lookout and tour the area with the PC Candidate in the Kiiwetinoong riding Clifford Bull.
