The provincial government says it’s still on target to erase its deficit by 2017-2018.
Figures released Tuesday show the deficit for last year came in at $10.9-billion, about $1.6-billion lower than forecast.
Premier Kathleen Wynne says her government is on the right track.
Wynne says the Ontario economy is performing well and is expected to grow by about 3.5% in 2015.
Finance Minister Charles Sousa says there will be a spring budget, but still hasn’t given an exact date.
