A promise by the Ontario government to reduce the small business tax isn’t satisfying a member of the Northwestern Ontario Chamber of Commerce.
Charla Robinson insists the drop from 4.5% to 3.5% isn’t enough to make up for a 22% increase in the minimum wage.
Robinson claims the drop is nowhere near enough to help small businesses deal with labour costs during a difficult transition period.
Robinson stresses she’s really disappointed by Tuesday’s announcement.
