Next season the Dryden Ice Dogs will have their 5th Head Coach in 4 years.
Jason Tatarnic has been fired by the Organization with 1 year remaining on his contract.
The Ice Dogs Executive says they want to go in a different direction next campaign.
After posting a 28-11-6-3 record last season, Tatarnic feels he did a lot to help in the growth of the club.
The Ice Dogs set team records for consecutive home wins and undefeated streak but were bounced in the SIJHL Finals by the Fort William First Nation Northstars in 5 games.
Tatarnic says he holds no grudge towards the organization and wishes them well however he is quick to point out that the club should take a closer look at itself after going through another coach.
No replacement has been named however former bench boss Larry Wintoniak is rumored to be the frontrunner for the position.
