The Canadian Institute of Forestry is holding its national conference in Kenora this coming week.
Matt Wilkie is the Co-Chair and says the theme is “Sharing the Forest.”
Wilkie says they have a long list of user groups set to make presentations, with experts set to talk about the industry side, economics, sustainability and ecologically.
He notes there will be around 200 delegates in attendance.
Wilkie says they will have representation from local First Nations, the Ministry of Natural Resources, and Kenora Conservative Candidate Greg Rickford.
Officials from the United states will also be on hand.
