Representatives from the Rainy River District School Board and High School teachers sit down Thursday and Friday in hopes of ironing out a new contract.
Earlier this month, Secondary Teachers voted 98.9% in favour of strike action.
Local Union President Brian Church has stated that if negotiations move forward then strike action would be postponed.
If not, Church hints that the union will start with work to rule.
