A number of scholarships were handed out at graduation ceremonies across the region last week.
Domtar is out with a list of recipients from Dryden High School.
The $750 scholarships focus on three key categories; academic achievement, trades pathways and to students who have completed co-op placements at the Domtar mill.
Those benefiting this year include Paige Atwood, Kennedy Campbell, Natalie Rae Orchard, Sara Karlen Donaldson, Barett Edenburn, Summer Cran, Brianne Kudlacek, Josh Russell and Anesa Huckell.
Wyatt Mantel of Ignace School was also awarded a scholarship.
Domtar Mill General Manager Marie Cyr says, “Once again the cohort of students that came forward this year was very impressive. Our committee applied a rigorous review in a highly competitive process.”
