Premier Kathleen Wynne has met with her New Brunswick counterpart to talk pipelines.
Wynne and Brian Gallant met in Toronto to chat about the Energy East Pipeline project.
Gallant doesn’t seem deterred by a list of seven criteria laid out by Premier Wynne.
Some of the criteria include consultation with communities where the project is going through, evaluating environmental impacts and talks with First Nations.
Gallant says they want to ensure there is a economic benefit for all the provinces involved.
He says he will continue to push their message that they can move Energy East forward in a secure way.
Alberta’s new Premier Jim Prentice plans to travel to Quebec and Ontario and meet with both Premiers on the Energy East proposal.
