The Dryden Area Health Services Foundation is asking for patience as fundraising efforts get underway.
The group is hoping to raise $2.5 million to help in physician recruitment efforts, with the City tossing in another million.
Its being called a Health Care crisis in Dryden, however Committee Member Janet Pilozow says an action plan is in place.
The Foundation will offer interested doctors money to relocate, housing allowances and job placements for spouses.
Pilozow says they are trying to attract 16 new medical professionals.
Dryden is expected to lose 3 doctors over the next few months but Pilozow says 2 people have already expressed interest in moving to the City.
1 is considering a full time ER position at the Hospital.
