What to do about Dryden’s Urban Deer?
The discussion has been on-going for several years as Dryden’s deer population has grown from the odd sighting of a timid doe to small herds that wander through the city with little or no fear of humans.
The City of Dryden is seeking several volunteers to serve on a “Deer Ad Hoc Committee” that will meet several times over the next few months to review all available information, study potential by-laws, come up with possible solutions and obstacles and report to City Councila in October.
Anyone interested in serving on the committee should contact City Hall for details.
