You can help end the stigmas that surround mental health.
Today is Bell Let’s Talk which uses social media as an advocate to spread awareness.
Sara Dias is the Executive Director of the Canadian Mental Health Association Kenora Brach and says people in Kenora have been getting more involved in mental health initiatives.
“You can actually sign the petition we have going on, called Erase the Difference. It’s a strong message for candidates running in the provincial election around mental health and addiction, as being central in Ontario, and should be funded the same as physical health”.
For every text, tweet and social media post, Bell will contribute 5 cents to mental health initiatives across the country.
Last year over 6.5 million dollars was raised for Canadian mental health initiatives.
