The overall increase this year is 0.89%, with $7.82-million of the budget coming from municipalities.
Including unincorporated ratepayers, the KDSB will collect $16.8-million from the Kenora District tax base up from $16.5-million last year.
Dryden’s levy will be dropping to $1.24-million from $1.25-million last year.
Board Chair Barry Baltessen says the rates are based on the overall assessment from the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation.
