A caravan from the Grassy Narrows First Nation to Toronto is underway.
It began yesterday with stops in Dryden and Thunder Bay.
It will be in Toronto by September 16th, in time for the River Run.
It’s awareness march about mercury poisoning on the First Nation.
A total of 15 people from the community have joined the caravan.
This year the River Run is calling for compensation for every member of the Grassy Narrows First Nation because of the on-going mercury crisis.
