High school football begins in earnest today.
The Beaver Brae Broncos start the season on the road in Portage La Prairie against the Trojans.
Both the Dryden Eagles and the Fort Frances Muskies play their first games tomorrow.
The Eagles are in Winnipeg to face the Churchill Bulldogs while the Muskies are at home against the John Taylor Pipers.
Beaver Brae and Dryden took part in their only pre-season action last Friday when the Broncos hosted two other teams from Manitoba, the Grant Park Pirates and the Elmwood Giants.
The Broncos, Eagles and Muskies are all in the ‘AAA’ division this year.
