Katrina Rose Reid, a loving wife, mother, daughter, “Nana,” sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2024, surrounded by her family. Born to Michael and Hazel Setala on January 13, 1966, in Thunder Bay, Katrina lived a life full of love and service.
In 1983, Katrina met the love of her life, Michael Reid, and they were married on December 1, 1984. Together, they built a beautiful family, raising two daughters, Savanna (Philip) and Damaris (Ryan), and cherishing their five grandchildren: Chandler, Nora, Cruz, Micah, and Charlee. Her siblings, Michele (Mike), Darren, and Troy (Katarina), will also carry her memory with love and gratitude.
Katrina’s faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she served the Lord alongside her husband for many years. Known for her contagious laugh, her passion for music, and her generous heart, Katrina touched the lives of everyone around her.
Her legacy of love, joy, and service leaves a shining light that will continue to inspire those who knew her. A celebration of life service is scheduled for 1:00 pm on Friday, September 20, at The Centre, 100 Casimir Ave., in Dryden, Ontario.
