Following his graduation from dentistry at the University of Manitoba, his journey led him to Dryden in 1962. As a competent, caring, and well-respected dentist, he served the Dryden community for 30 years until his retirement in 1992.
Gordon embraced the move to Dryden with enthusiasm, eager to pursue his love for the outdoors. His passion for nature was boundless. Gordon spent many years exploring the area and enjoying the great outdoors. He generously shared his vast knowledge, becoming a mentor to many.
Gordon was a master of whatever he decided to take on or do. From building a beautiful log home on Ghost Lake, finding the best fishing hole, mastering the art of carving, photography, piloting an airplane, scuba diving and so much more.
Among his many joys, fishing was his greatest pleasure. Gordon delighted in catching, cleaning, and preparing walleye fish fries for family and friends, turning each expedition into a treasured memory.
Gordon had a profound love for his family. He placed great value on closeness with family and friends.
His legacy of knowledge, mentorship, and the joy he found in nature and fishing will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
