Jerrilynn (Jerri) Francis Gould
March 13, 1952 – July 1, 2024
It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Jerri at the Dryden Regional Health Centre, with her family by her side.
Jerri is survived by Jeff, her loving husband of 53 years, daughter Jennifer (Mike) Winter, son Jamie (Rachelle) Gould, and grandchildren Megan, Mathew, and Mason. She is also survived by her cherished siblings: Jim (Jackie) Reid, Janice (Sandy) Dyck, and Michael (Katrina) Reid. As well, she is survived by her dearest Gould siblings: Gordon (Connie), Terry (Penny), Bob (Lori), and Roger (Renee). In addition, she is survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Jerri was predeceased by her parents Frank and Peggy Reid, her infant brother David Reid, in-laws Con and Marion Gould, infant baby David Gould, and Jan and Shane McMillan.
Jerri lived her life to the fullest. Her number one priority was her family. Jerri took great pride in her roles as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and grandma. Jerri filled her days with her many passions including: time with friends, traveling, telling her stories, fishing, being at camp, and of course, golfing. Jerri was very competitive in all sports, excelling in high school in track and field, basketball, and arm wrestling.
Jerri’s mathematical skills and attention to detail was an asset throughout her work years that started in banking, and then alongside her husband and son for over 30 years in the family business. As well, these skills assisted Jerri throughout various volunteer positions as president, treasurer, and member of numerous committees.
As per Jerri‘s request, there will be no funeral service. Cremation has taken place, and a private interment will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice or to the Dryden Regional Health Centre at P.O. Box 3003, Dryden Ontario, P8N 2Z6.
