The OPP say there will be an increased presence in the area between Sioux Lookout and Pipestone River as they continue to search for a missing man.
23-year-old Jeremy Sergerie has been missing since last Friday after walking into a wooded area behind Cedar Crescent in Sioux Lookout.
Provincial Police say he might have been hitch-hiking along Highway 516 and Highway 599.
He is described as an Indigenous male, 5’8″ with a slight build and short black hair.
Jeremy was wearing a yellow hoodie, dark coloured t-shirt, black pants, brown boots, and carrying an assortment of bags including a green backpack, black duffel bag, and beige satchel.
Police say there is no threat to public safety at this time, but anyone who has had contact with Jeremy or knows of his where-abouts is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
