A Dryden resident is facing firearm charges following an incident at a residence.
Early Monday afternoon Ontario Provincial Police officers were sent to a home on Duke Street in Dryden.
Upon arrival, officers located and seized a sawed-off firearm during their investigation, leading to the arrest.
As a result, a 31-year-old Dryden resident is facing the following charges:
- Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
- Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
The accused has been released from custody with a future court date.
