Three people have been charged with drug trafficking in Sioux Lookout.
The OPP made the arrests last Thursday following an on-going investigation.
Around 11 am, officers conducted a traffic stop on the Ed Ariano By-Pass and seized several drugs, including cocaine, fentanyl, prescription medication and other drug trafficking paraphernalia.
Some Canadian currency and unmarked cigarettes were also found.
Two Thunder Bay residents, a 39 year old man and a 47 year old woman, were arrested.
Later that day, another person, a 27 year old Sioux Lookout resident, was arrested around 4:00 for failing to comply with a release order relating to a drug bust back in March.
Several drugs were located and he faces four charges, including drug trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, failure to comply with an undertaking and failure to attend for fingerprints.
All three appeared in Kenora Bail court on this past Friday.
