One person has been arrested following a prolonged stand-off on Snow Drive, just off of Highway 658 north of Kenora.
The incident took place Monday just after 8 pm after the OPP received reports of an armed person who had barricaded themselves inside a home.
Provincial Police deployed the Emergency Response Team, crisis negotiators, a Tactical Emergency Medical Service, a K-9 unit and a Tactics and Rescue Unit.
That section of the Redditt Road from the Dalles turnoff to Coker Road was cordoned off as a precaution.
After 20 hours the stand-off was finally resolved and the OPP say there were no injuries sustained.
Police say firearm charges have been laid.
The suspect has been taken to hospital for further assessment.
The criminal investigation into the incident remains on-going.
