Just one forest fire has been reported in the region.
It was a 0.1 hectare blaze the popped up near Highway 665 about nine kilometers north of Dryden Thursday afternoon.
It’s since been declared out.
The cool, wet weather over the last couple of days has reduced the forest fire hazard to low right across the region.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry says there are no active wildfires burning in northwestern Ontario.
