Eagle River volunteers have done it again and this time they went green in time for St. Patrick’s Day this Sunday!
Put on some green and head to Eagle River and check out the awesome display that celebrates the day. Make sure you take some pictures to capture some memories of your ‘greenness’ with the display!
Eagle River volunteer Connie Calvert shares the following words and pictures of what you’ll see. Thanks Connie!
Those Irish eyes are smilin’ and up to no good,
But we have managed to change the trees in our little neighbourhood.
The flower box is covered in green, with the cutest little Irish guys you ever have seen!
Warren and Barb Harrison’s snowmen are standing in a row,
Wearing their jolly green from head to toe!
Linda Carter’s artwork tops off the look,
Making our little park appealing…a quaint little nook!
Lindsey Peeters and Zoe St Laurent decorated this one,
Chalk full of character and fun!
Janet Hartley, Nita Taylor, Stacie Rusten and Jana Rae,
Covered this tree in the coolest Irish array.
This tree is so inviting it exudes ‘come and play’!
Debbie Boyd’s tree is full of gold ,
Wish it was real…truth be told!
It sparkles and shines in the sunlight,
Bringing passers by, a glimpse pf delight.
The Montgomery tree is dressed for the occasion,
Sparkling shamrock tinsel and a Happy St Patrick’s Day sign emanates Irish persuasion!
The Jaeger trees are ready for Irish action,
Leprechauns hope to meet your satisfaction.
If they reveal a hidden treasure,
The mischievous Irish lads will be happy beyond measure!
These two cute Irish trees stand adorned at our Rec Hall,
Welcoming those who enter the building to go to yoga, gym night or pickleball!
Our little village continues to share our flair,
We all work together to show how much we care!
