Tentative deals have been reached between the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board and the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation for three separate bargaining groups.
The agreements cover the board’s education assistants, office, clerical and library staff and occasional teachers.
No details are being immediately released.
Ratification votes must still be held by local union members and the board.
The talks related to local issues after a central agreement covering such things as wages that was agreed upon earlier this year by OSSTF and the provincial government.
In joint releases, board and union officials say both are “pleased with the results of the negotiating sessions and look forward to implementation and furthering the work of supporting all learners.”
