Charles “Chuck” MacDonald
November 21, 1944 – February 12, 2024
In loving memory of Charles Mitchell MacDonald, aged 79, born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia in 1944, he was the third of nine children born to Norman and Ruth MacDonald. The family relocated to Dryden in 1961.
Affectionately known as Chuck to his family and friends, he was not only a master mechanic but also an avid fisherman, artist and jack of all trades. Throughout his time on this earth, Chuck touched countless lives with his do-good spirit. A dedicated fixer, he approached both machines and lending a helping hand to others with unwavering commitment.
He is survived by his children Lloyd Napish (Melody), Robbie Napish, and Crystal Kosan (Richard), as well as siblings Lloyd, Dyanne, Steve, Linda, Cobi, and Mary. Chuck is predeceased by his parents, brother Norman, sister Janet, Brad and Jayelle Napish, and his baby boy. Left to cherish his memory are grandchildren Rhyne, Ethan, MJ, Talon, Logan, and dear friends Paul, Sandy, Vicky, Roy, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Eagle Lake Community Hall on Thursday, February 15, 2024. Visitation starts at 10 am, with the service commencing at 1 pm. Prayers will be led by a family friend, followed by a traditional service conducted by Roy Napish Sr.
