Janet Anne Northcott
June 29, 1945 – January 19, 2024
In loving memory of Janet Anne Northcott who passed away with her family by her side on January 19, 2024. Janet was born in Dryden on June 29, 1945 to Reidar and Mary Olsen. Janet spent most of her life in Dryden.
Janet is survived by her son, Jeff Marsh, her brother Ron (Sharon) Olsen, nieces Robyn (Mike)
Paquette, Jennifer Olsen and her great nephew Reidar Paquette. She also leaves special lifelong friends who she considered family: Blake, Debbie and Ashley Latimer, Barb Hampe, Marcey Taggart, Dody Davis and Vicki Johnson. Janet was predeceased by her husband, Les Northcott.
Janet worked as an RNA at the Dryden Hospital and at the Dryden Medical Clinic as a receptionist.
Janet had a strong love and appreciation for nature, enjoying many trips with Les to camp. Along with her love of nature, she loved any and all animals, especially her Maggie.
The family would like to thank Dr. Cook, Dr. Bester and the Nursing staff at the Dryden Regional
Health Centre for their care and compassion. The family would also like to express our heartfelt
appreciation and thank you to Heather for not only being her caregiver but a wonderful friend while Janet was both at home and in the hospital.
A private family interment will take place at a later date.
