After almost four years, the Clarion Lakeside Inn and Conference Center is finally open.
A fire took place in January of 2020, closing the hotel since then.
Jimmy Koo is the general manager and says about half of the rooms are available.
“The room section is open, but the restaurant and food and beverage operations will be open at a later stage, maybe the summertime,” says Koo.
Koo says due to a fire the whole hotel has been fully renovated.
“The renovations basically, we gutted everything down to concrete from the top to bottom floor, so everything is brand new. Even the pipes are brand new too.”
Koo says they don’t have enough staff yet to open all the rooms.
The conference rooms are also not open until the kitchen is fully staffed and operating.
