On the morning of December 15, 2023, members of the Ontario Provincial Police received multiple calls for service regarding a suspicious person around Park Street and Fair Street.
Investigation revealed the accused entered multiple residences and assaulted one individual.
As a result, a King Fisher First Nation resident has been arrested and charged with assault, and breaking and entering into a dwelling/house to commit an indictable offence.
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing on December 16, 2023, and released with a court date.
The following day on December 17, 2023, the accused was observed breaching the conditions of their release order.
As a result, the accused was arrested again and charged with failure to comply with a release order or undertaking.
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing, and released with both court dates set for January 16, 2024
