The Pathway Project is an integrated response team that is dedicated to assisting individuals who struggle with addiction in the City of Dryden and surrounding communities.
The project is a co-response model and partnership between The OPP and Adult & Teen Challenge, that utilizes an Addiction Specialist, with lived addiction experience and in partnership with an OPP officer to intervene in the lives of someone suffering from addictions.
This program is made possible through the vast network of community partners from Adult & Teen Challenge, The City of Dryden, The Dryden Regional Health Centre, Kenora District Services Board, The Dryden Native Friendship Centre, Ministry of the Solicitor General, Community Living Dryden – Sioux Lookout and treatment facilities across the country.
The Pathway Project launched in April 2023 and has already had an impact, reducing OPP calls for service for residents who have utilized Pathway by an average of 44%.
