He met his wife Wilma in Dryden, and they started their family there before moving to Kenora and then Thunder Bay and finally returning to Dryden. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, picking blueberries, and his beloved Square Lake “God’s country.” He also loved to go for drives, to play cards, to make rocking chairs and tables, and to watch the Jays and the Leafs. His daily walks took him to the local cafés where he loved to catch up with friends. Milton and Wilma played cards and loved to dance his special “two step”. They enjoyed several winters with their friends in Penticton, British Columbia.
Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Dryden Regional Health Centre. A celebration of Life will be held at a future date.

“Gone Fishing”
I’ve finished life’s chores assigned to me,
So put me on a boat headed out to sea.
Please send along my fishing pole
For I’ve been invited to the fishin’ hole.
Where every day is a day to fish,
To fill your heart with every wish.
Don’t worry, or feel sad for me,
I’m fishin’ with the Master of the sea.
We will miss each other for awhile,
But you will come and bring your smile.
That won’t be long you will see,
Till we’re together you and me.
To all of those that think of me,
Be happy as I go out to sea.
If others wonder why I’m missin’
Just tell ’em I’ve gone fishin’
