Esther Haw

Our family is sad to announce the passing of Esther Marlene Haw (nee Haney) on October 23, 2023 at Emo Long Term Care, in Emo Ontario.
Esther was born in Deerlock, Ontario on September 26, 1939 to Russell and Geneva (nee Chestnut) Haney.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 68 years, Alvin, and their 4 children Gail Gee (Jim), Gary, Dwayne (Julie) and Darcy (Michelle). She leaves behind 9 grandchildren (Aaron, Jarod, Sheryl, Chris, Cori-Lynn, Kasey, Camryn, Graeme and Teagan) 12 great-grandchildren (Ezra, Ellora, Layne, Kimberley, Madison, Callissa, Kirkland, Mikinley, Gracen, Hudson, Kaedin and Rylee) and 3 great-great grandchildren (Milo, Braxton and Maisie). She also leaves 3 surviving siblings: Marlyce Huitikka (Olavi), George Haney (Carol) and Gayedawn Fischer (Carl).
Esther was predeceased by, parents Russell and Geneva Haney, siblings Joyce, Millie, Larry, Richard, Opal, Orval, Dean, Roger and Donna; daughter-in-law Barbara.
During her lifetime she loved camping with friends and family, spending time with her grandchildren, crocheting, various crafts and designing gift cards with her cricket.
A service will be held to celebrate Esther’s life on Tuesday, October 31st at 1:00pm at Northridge Funeral Home in Emo, Ontario. A luncheon will follow at the same location.
In Esther’s memory, donations may be made to the Emo Hospital Auxiliary.
