Dryden Fibre Canada is introducing itself to the community.
The company officially took over the Dryden Paper Mill at the beginning of the month.
Diane Loewen is the Communications and Engagement Coordinator and says they’ll be hosting a community barbeque this afternoon.
“We are going to be having a community open house and this is our opportunity to introduce the new company to the entire community of Dryden,” explains Loewen.
“We are offering some great burgers and hot dogs that are free for everyone to enjoy. We will also be having books to give away to anyone interested. We might have a few swag items to give away as well. We have laser tag for kids…we have other kids activities. It’s going to be lots of fun.”
The barbeque and open house will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 at the Center on Casimir Avenue.
Yesterday Fibre Canada held a community breakfast as part of it’s engagement process.
