Elizabeth Park (nee Toews)
August 21, 1929 – August 17, 2023.
Elizabeth (Betty) went to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, just short of her 94th birthday, at Princess Court Long Term Care in Dryden Ontario.
Princess Court was a place of care and comfort for Betty in her later years while suffering with long term dementia. Our heartfelt thanks goes out to the Princess Court staff for their professionalism and compassion toward Betty and her family. We are so very grateful.
Betty is predeceased by her husband Bruce, son Ron, grandson Robert, and son-in-law Gary Rentz.
She is survived and lovingly remembered by her daughter-in-law Sylvia, daughter Alyss, son Gerald (Gail), son William (Sally), son James; grandchildren Christina, Travis, Ryan, Sean, Kirsten, Aaron, Cedar; 14 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Betty was born in Gretna Manitoba, later moving with her parents and siblings to a homestead in the Vermillion Bay Area. Betty met Bruce Park in Dryden, where they married, built a home on Arthur Street and raised their five children.
Betty enjoyed spending time with family & friends, church, road trips, cribbage, golfing, boating, bird watching & nature walks. She had a kind heart, was easy to please, and eager to please. These characteristics continued to be displayed as she lovingly cared for her fellow Princess Court residents.
