There will be a few changes under the Pavilion this year at Harbourfest 2023 – but the annual long weekend festival will be back this August for its 30th anniversary!
Canadian rock band The Grapes of Wrath have been revealed as Saturday night’s headlining act, with Winnipeg’s Northern Royals and Kenora’s Stone House filling out the show.
Harbourfest 2023 will feature just the one night of entertainment under the Jarnel Contracting Pavilion, with Beer Gardens on site and tickets priced at $50 for August 5, 2023.
But families are invited back to the Pavilion for Sunday, where a number of Family Fest activities will be taking place, starting at 11 a.m.,
Al Simmons and the Sarah Teakle Circus Show are listed as the entertainment with a $20 general admission fee. Local entertainers will also be performing throughout the day.
Family Fest activities include a wooden boat parade, car show, bouncy castles, a kids carnival, educational activities, food trucks and much more. Events usually took place in the parking lot, but things will be in the shaded area of the Pavilion this year.
You can purchase tickets for this year’s event HERE.
Kenora’s Harbourfest has been running annually since 1993, with 2020 and 2021’s shows being cancelled due to COVID-19.
Leadership notes they are still searching for volunteers, and those interested are asked to contact volunteer@harbourfest.ca for more information.
