A northwestern Ontario mining company has a new president.
Maura Kolb assumed the role last month.
She will also take the lead on the company’s exploration activities.
Kolb is an experienced geologist with 15 years in mining and exploration.
Before joining Dryden Gold, she was Director of Exploration at Treasury Metals.
Kolb is also a sitting board member with the Northwestern Ontario Chapter of Women in Mining.
The company is also announcing the appointment of Janet Lee-Sheriff as Independent Director on its board.
She is the president of several mining companies elsewhere in Canada.
Dryden Gold owns several properties around the Dinorwic area that it is exploring.
