Both Beaver Brae and Fort Frances are sending teams to the All-Ontario Soccer championships next week.
The Bronco boys defeated the Muskies in the NorWOSSA final 2-1 yesterday afternoon in Fort Frances.
The Muskie girls also advanced with a 3-1 win over the Dryde Eagles in the “AA” final.
The Bronco boys will be travelling to Bradford for the OFSAA championships, while the Muskie Girls advanced to the OFSSA championships in Coburg.
In the meantime, the NWOSSA “A” championships are taking place over the next two days.
The St. Thomas Aquinas girls are hosting Michipicoten High School from Wawa, while the boys are travelling to Marathon.
The Saints girls play their first game in the best-of-three series at 3:30 this afternoon, while game two is at 9:00 tomorrow morning.
Game three, if necessary, is Friday afternoon at 1:00.
The TA boys are playing both LaVerendrye High School from Thunder Bay and Marathon.
Their first game against ESC de La Verendrye is at 1:00 (CST) today and the Saints will play against at 6:00 (CST) against Marathon.
The final will take place at 11:00 (CST) on Friday.
