Elsie Widdifield
April 20, 1921 – May 2, 2023
Freda Elsie Widdifield, 102, of Vermilion Bay went home to be with her Saviour on May 2nd. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Widdifield.
She is survived by her son, Larry and wife Marilyn. A daughter, Sharon and husband Bill Love. Seven grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Elsie cared deeply about God, her community, her family, and her garden. She was an advocate for all who needed a voice and always happy to help a friend.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Vermilion Bay United Church on May 13, 2023 at 11 a.m. with Julie Dzeoba officiating.
Interment will follow in the Vermilion Bay Cemetery.
Reception to follow at the Happy Go Lucky Senior Centre in Vermilion Bay.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Charity of Choice.
