It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Chadd Wabonge at the age of 36 years of Migisi Sahgaigan, Ontario, on the 5th of April, 2023, at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with loved ones by his side. Chadd was an amazing, caring and charismatic individual who touched the lives of many people along his life journey. Chadd is survived by his sisters Lisa, Kerry, Mandy and Sundance, his daughter Kaia as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends who became family to him. He is predeceased by his grandmother Rose Lefort, grandfather Albert Lefort, mother Mary Ann Wabonge, father Clifford Lefort as well as his cousin Kayla who was like a sister to him. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Eagle Lake Community Hall. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Eagle Lake Community Hall with Pastor Amos Esh officiating. Cremation will take place following the funeral service.
