Olga passed away peacefully at Dryden Regional Health Center on March 20, 2023 at 88 years of age.
Olga’s final hours were spent filled with love and comfort with her beloved sister Angie, dear friends Terry Bell and Maurice Betournay, at her side. Olga left this life as she lived it – with grace, humility, unwavering strength and a selfless loving heart.
Olga was predeceased by her husband William (Bill)Woitowicz, son Garry, granddaughter Cindy, parents Helen and Nick Medvid, and brothers Bill, Michael, Matt and Almer. Olga is survived by her sister Angeline Medvid, brothers Orest Medvid and Ken Neckay, and her brood of nieces and nephews.
Olga lived a full happy life, leaving her mark on the hearts of all that met her. Olga was generous beyond measure, supporting numerous charities over the years, donating 80 acres of land for a wildlife sanctuary, and tirelessly volunteering in the Dryden community that she deeply loved. Olga will be remembered as a strong, generous, loving and feisty lady. Always quick with a joke or an opinion and could always be counted on if you needed a helping hand.
You will be deeply missed. Rest easy now Auntie Olga, we will carry on rich in the values you have left with us. The family would like to thank Dr. Barrie for her care and compassion.
