Elly Nora Rutter nee Weiske
July 29, 1929 – March 7, 2023
In loving memory of Elly Rutter, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.
Born in Waldhof, ON to parents Alfred and Adeline Weiske on July 29, 1929.
Elly is survived by her husband Gordon in their 69th year of marriage, daughters Terry (Ross) Langdon and Lori (Paul) Pruys, grandchildren Jason, Jacob and Lukas, 3 great-grandchildren, great-greatgrandchild, sisters Ruby (Jake) Jeske and Rose (Tony) Blair and in-laws Ruby (Wayne) Prouse and Keith (Jean) Rutter as well as many nieces and nephews.
Elly met her husband Gordon while working at Harley’s Supermarket in 1951. Soon after, in 1954, they were married and spent their lives enjoying fishing and camping on Wabigoon Lake.
Elly loved spending time with her family and especially with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and all that were blessed to know her.
As per Elly’s wishes there will be no service. Interment will take place at a later date.
