Howard Jack Landon “Trapper”
Sunrise: December 20, 1957 – Sunset: February 6, 2023
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Howard Jack Landon announces his sudden passing Feb. 6th, 2023.
Survived by his sister Grace Green, brothers Melvin Green (Diane), Leonard Green, nieces Autumn Green-Kejick, Summer Green, Winter Green, Christine Green, Savannah Bondy (Myles), nephews Damian Green-Kejick, Walter Green, and good friend Jonallan Gardner, and Kevin Perrault.
Howard is pre-deceased by his parents Margaret Belmore (Landon) and Andrew Walmsley, as well as his sisters Kathy Gustafson, Sarah Green, and Karen Green.
Howard was a quiet but loving man who will be missed by many. He enjoyed playing cards, watching hockey, and having a good time with his friends and family.
During his younger years, Howard loved being outdoors. He enjoyed fishing with his buddies and playing baseball with his team; “The Stoners”, out in Dinorwic. He also enjoyed going blueberry picking and other activities. Howard loved his nieces and nephews, whom he cherished.
Visitations will take place on Thursday, February 9, 2023 starting at 11 a.m. at the Eagle Lake First Nation Community Hall with an Elder officiating.
A Traditional Service will follow on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 11 a.m.
Internment will follow at the Eagle Lake Cemetery.
