Jake Manners stopped all 37 shots faced to help the Sioux Lookout Bombers defeat the Red Lake Miners 4-0 at Cochenour Arena on Saturday night.
The shutout for Manner was his third this season.
Manners has not allowed a goal in 123:00 of hockey, dating back to the 5:16 mark of the second period in last Wednesday’s 3-2 win over the GM Ice Dogs.
There was no scoring in the game through the first 17 minutes before the Bombers notched two 31 seconds apart.
Connor Burke scored his tenth of the season, which was followed by Lucas Trimarchi (11).
Nolan Palmer (8) gave the Bombers a 3-0 lead in the second period.
Tegan Neuman (8) completed the scoring early in the third.
Manners, Neuman and Trimarchi were named the game’s three stars.
The win moved the Bombers to third place in the standings, two points back of the Dryden GM Ice Dogs and one point ahead of the Miners.
