The City of Dryden says it’s in desperate need of more lifeguards.
To that end, a Bronze Medallion swimming course is being offered by the Dryden Pool and Fitness Center.
The Bronze Medallion course is being offered during the month of February and anyone interested in starting the process of becoming a certified lifeguard.
Its a three day course building on swimmers existing skills and provides lifesaving basics.
Participants must be at least 13 years of age by the end of the course or have completed the Bronze Star program.
The course will run every Saturday starting on February 11th from noon to 6 pm.
The deadline to apply is February 3rd.
