If the road ahead of you looks bare but wet – be careful. It could be ‘black ice.’
The entire region East and West of Dryden is under a ‘Freezing Drizzle Warning’ that will last through the day and into tonight.
The warning covers the Trans Canada Highway from the Manitoba border right through to Ignace. The warning also extends to Ear Falls and Red Lake as well as Sioux Lookout.
Temperatures across the District are expected to hover around 0 to -2 today and will stay mild through this evening. Day time highs across the area will dip to near seasonal normals Tuesday and through the week at -6 to -8.
If you must travel, be sure to carry extra washer fluid as well.
