The Red Lake Miners lost 3-2 to the Thunder Bay Miners in SIJHL action.

In high school sports, the Sioux North Warriors took three of four games on the court from the Dryden Eagles.
The Warriors won in senior boys basketball 34-21 and the junior contest 42-29.
In girls’ volleyball, it was Dryden’s seniors winning, three games to one, while Sioux North won the junior matchup three games to none.
The Ignace Falcons had a lone win in their games with Northern Lakes in Atikokan.
The Falcons senior boys basketball team beat Northern Lakes 40-32.
The juniors lost 47-41, while the senior girls’ volleyball team lost three games to one.
